Tension Levelling Lines
Our Tension Levelling Lines are
designed to provide excellent sheet metal flatness required for high
quality applications in different industries. The material is run
through a entry and exit set of bridle rolls, with the corrective
leveler in between. The strip is under great tension with a slight
elongation above the yield point of the material, and simultaneously
leveled. The material is uniformly levelled and relieved of most
internal stresses.
Tension Leveller
The Tension Leveller arrangements
include of an undriven leveller with entry and exit bridles. In the
automated lines the degree of elongation is determined by the difference
in the speed or the tension generated between the bridles. The Tension
levellers are available with different drive options such as closed loop
mechanical differentials, all-electrical drives and combination
electrical-mechanical drives.
Specifications
- The leveller can be provided with the 2,4,5 or 7 work roll
modules.
- The 4 Hi or 6 Hi configuration of the levelling lines can
provided depending upon the surface and type of material to be
processed.
- The user friendly design allows good access for cleaning and
maintenance.
- The tension levellers are equipped with neutralising sections for
relieving the stress induced in the strip as it passes over the last
work roll. These sections are available in 2 roll or a multiple roll
designs.
